Noah's to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for him and for them.
Noah did everything just as God commanded him.
God said He's going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.
But He will establish His covenant with Noah and Noah will enter the ark, Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons wives with him.

So God told Noah to make an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.
This is how God told him to build the ark: the ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks.

The earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their way.
So God told Noah that He was going to put an end to all the people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. He was surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth and his heart was deeply troubled.
So the Lord said He would wipe from the face of the earth the human race that He had created and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground, for He regretted that He had made them.

When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. He named him Noah and said, "He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed."
After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years and then he died.

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.
After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether Enoch lived a total of 365 years.
Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Enoch bore Irad and Irad was the father of Mehujael and Mehujael was the father of Methushael and Methushael was the father of Lamech.
Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah.
Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raised livestock. His brother named Jubal; he was the father of all who played stringed instruments and pipes.
Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who made all kinds of tools out of bronze and iron. His sister was Naamah.

Cain said his punishment was more that he could bear. God was driving him from the land and he would be hidden from His presence; and that he would be a restless wanderer on the earth and anyone finding him would kill him.
God told Cain that anyone who would kill him would suffer vengeance seven times over.
Then God put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.

Then God asked Cain where's his brother. Cain said he didn't know, was he is brothers keeper?
So God asked him what he had done and that his brother's blood cries out to Him from the ground. And then told Cain that he was under a curse.
God told Cain that when he would work the ground that it would no long yield its crops for him and that he would be a restless wanderer on the earth.
