Once Peter had cried, "Depart from me; for I
am a sinful man, O Lord," and "This shall not
be unto thee."

Again, not understanding what Jesus said, he
cried out, "Thou shalt never wash my feet."

Jesus showed him his false humility and said,
If I wash thee not, thou hast not part with me."

With that Peter came around; if that were the
case then "Lord, not my feet only, but also my
hands and my head."
