Peter's walk on the water, shows the Christian
walk from the new birth to maturity. The new
christian who has been redeemed and walks
mainly in the flesh; having confidence in their
own natural abilities.

But learning to walk by faith, they come to a
crisis time that requires more than their own
natural faith and they have to cry out to Jesus
"Lord save me".

Then Jesus will come to the rescue, taking
their hand, lifting them up to a faith in which
they can walk victorious together over the
waves of life.
