Some spoke against Jesus because He didn't fast
often. Thinking that they may get attention from
the disciples of John the Baptist.

Jesus told them that a time would come when they
would fast. And He taught that casting out certain
demons would require fasting.

Jesus Himself, started His ministry with a forty
day fast.
