Not everyone at Bethany were Jesus' friends.
There likely were spies that were watching to
see if He would return because of Lazarus' death.
But no one was going to Jerusalem to tell the
Jews that He was there.

In fact, some of them wondered, "Could not
this man, which opened the eyes of the blind,
have caused that even this man should not
have died?"
