Jesus seemed to want to get away from the
people for a while, but they had been with Him
for about three days and looked tired. Their
provisions were gone. They didn't want to miss
anything so they hadn't gone for any more.

Jesus took pity on them and didn't want to send
them away in case some were to faint by the
way.

Many times multitudes had been with them but
not before had He fed them.
