Of course, those who are the loudest tend to be
the most critical. They took over the question-
ing of the blind man. First, they asked him what
he thought of Jesus. He said that "He is a prophet."
The Jews hadn't really believed that the man had
been blind. They figured that someone had put him
up to a hoax until his parents were called before
them. They then identified him as their son who
had been born blind. His parents sent them back to
the man because "He is of age; ask him; he shall
speak for himself."
"These words spake his parents, because they
feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed
already, that if any man did confess that he was
Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue"
