Jesus said that the custom of the Gentiles was
to be dictators over those under them and that
they did it in the name of 'benefactors'.

But this was not to be so in the Church, that He
would build. Instead of being dictators, they
should find ways to serve one another. That
was the true way of greatness.

Christ, not man, was to be the head of the
Church.
