After ministering to the sick, that night at Peter's
house, He had not been able to teach concerning
the kingdom.

He didn't want to be a miracle-worker instead of
"the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of
the world."

Salvation (healing) of the soul must always be
more important than healing of the body. But
healing of the sick was a large part of His minis-
try. Healing is the children's bread.

It showed God's compassion for the suffering.
And it brought the people to Him.
