Jesus, James and

John arrived at

Peter's house and

was met by Peter's

wife with the news

that her mother

was sick.

"And forthwith,

when they were

come out

of the synagogue, they enterd into the house

of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever,

and anon they tell him of her. And he came

and took her by the hand, and lifted her up,

and immediately the fever left her, and she

ministered unto them" Mark 1:29-31

Here we see that He didn't even pray but

acted on His authority by taking her hand

and lifting her up causing her to become well.

Faith is an act. We can learn from this woman

that when she responded to Jesus it caused her

to receive her healing.
