After most of the people had left, Jesus turned
to the disciples and said, "Will ye also go away?"
The remaining twelve looked down because the
excitement of the day was gone.

Some of the other disciples had left also; but the
main twelve stayed even though they didn't
understand all Jesus had said, they did understand
what He said about eternal life.

Then Peter spoke up,"Then Simon Peter answered
him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the
words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure
that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God."
