"Take heed that ye despise not one of these
little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven
their angels do always
behold the face of my
Father which is in
heaven" Matthew 18:10
The Lord gave a solemn warning to those who
are neglectful to the weak members.
"It were better," Jesus said, "that a millstone
were hanged about his neck, and that he were
drowned in the depth of the sea," than to
offend one of the little ones.
It's a wonder how often professing Christians
show a harsh and critical spirit towards the
weaker members. Behind each backslider
there is often someone who has acted tactless
and unchristlike towards them.
