Jesus' heart went

out to Zacchaeus

when he saw him

up in the tree.

When He got near
to the tree and saw

the eager look on

Zacchaeus'
face, Jesus looked

up and said,

"Zacchaeus,
make haste, and

come down; for today I must abide at thy

house."

Immediately this upset some people in the

crowd. Why his house, and not a home of a

priest instead of a publican's. At least Jesus

should choose the home of some respectable

person and not a social outcasts'.
