Peter and Andrew went to the river to see him.
Peter stood listening to John speak and it wit-
nessed to his spirit. As John preached repent-
ance, Peter realized he was a sinner even though
he believed in the Law of Moses.

John preached about the ONE who was to come
after him. Peter asked John what he must do.
John told him to confess his sins. When he did
and believed John baptized him in the river.
After that Peter stressed water baptism.

On the day of pentecost when the crowds asked
him, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
He said, "Repent and be baptized everyone of
you in the name of Jesus."
