Jesus arose and took control by commanding the
wind ‘Peace be still’

they saw that He showed no fear or alarm at the
situation at all. In their fear they had accused
Jesus of not caring. Jesus said, “Why are ye so
fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?”

Jesus had not yet shown His power over the devil
so the disciples were relieved to see that they were
in good hands with Him. Their faith was being
developed to be dependent on Him.

Nothing would be able to stop His mission, devil or
man, until He and the Father decided, and then He
give it, they didn’t take it away from Him.

Even while in the flesh He was so powerful that
nothing could harm Him or those who trusted in
Him.
